What This Integration Enables

An agent can capture inbound leads into Copper, search and enrich existing records inside a multi-step flow, and convert qualified leads into people, companies, and opportunities in one step. It advances opportunities through stages, marks them Won or Lost, and creates follow-up tasks and activities against any record so the pipeline stays honest. Copper does not emit its own events, so flows start from the systems feeding it: a form tool, an inbox, or a scheduled sweep of records to enrich. The agent turns those signals into clean records and timely conversions. Search-before-write keeps duplicates out, which matters most on the accounts a rep would be embarrassed to double-enter.

Without FlowRunner

Web leads entered by hand A rep transcribes form fields into Copper between other tasks
Conversion is manual and late Qualified leads sit as leads because nobody ran the conversion step
Pipeline updates lag Deal stages and Won/Lost marks update in batches, not as work happens

With FlowRunner

Leads captured on arrival The agent creates the lead the moment the form is submitted
Conversion runs on qualification Convert Lead produces a person, company, and opportunity as soon as a lead qualifies
Pipeline reflects reality Stages and outcomes update as the workflow advances the deal

Use Case Scenarios

Survey Entry Becomes a Qualified Opportunity

A [Typeform](/integrations/typeform) survey returns recent entries. The agent calls Create Lead for each prospect, then Convert Lead once a lead qualifies, producing a linked person, company, and opportunity in a single move. The rep starts the day with opportunities to work, not rows to transcribe.

New Deal Reaches the Team

When the agent runs Create Opportunity, it posts to the sales channel through [Slack](/integrations/slack) with the deal name, value, and pipeline stage. Everyone who needs to know sees the deal the moment it is created, without waiting for a pipeline review.

Welcome Email After Conversion

After Convert Lead produces a new person, the agent sends a personalized welcome through [Gmail](/integrations/gmail-service) Send Message using the new contact's stored email. The handoff from lead to relationship starts immediately, and every touch is logged as a Copper activity for the next person who opens the record.

Human-in-Loop Highlight

Lead conversion is a one-way step: it creates a person, a company, and an opportunity, and it commits the deal to the pipeline. On the accounts you have flagged as strategic, that commitment deserves a human. When the agent is about to run Convert Lead on a flagged lead, it treats the conversion as a [human-in-the-loop](/concepts/human-in-the-loop/) step. It pauses, shows the lead and the records the conversion will create, and routes the decision to a sales manager through Slack or email. The manager approves, and the agent converts and notifies the team. The manager holds, and the lead stays a lead. Routine conversions run untouched; the ones that shape the pipeline get a decision.
