What This Integration Enables

FlowRunner agents use LINE to reach customers proactively and to respond inside webhook flows. An agent can push a message to a user, group, or room, reply to an incoming message with a one-time reply token, and fan out an announcement through multicast, broadcast, or narrowcast. It can download images, video, audio, or files a customer sends, and enrich a workflow with profile data and live quota usage. Because broadcast and narrowcast draw heavily on a finite monthly quota, the agent treats those sends as decisions to confirm, not actions to fire automatically.

Use Case Scenarios

Quota-gated broadcast

A campaign agent prepares an announcement for a customer segment. Before sending, it calls Get Message Quota and Get Message Consumption to see how much headroom is left, estimates what the broadcast will cost, and posts a preview with that impact to the marketing channel. A marketing lead reviews the exact message and the quota hit, then approves. Only on approval does the agent call Broadcast Message or Narrowcast Message. A large send never fires on the agent's own judgment.

Media intake from customer messages

When a customer sends a photo to the Official Account, the webhook event carries a message ID. The agent calls Get Message Content to download the image into FlowRunner file storage, processes it, and replies with Reply Message using the one-time reply token. The customer gets a response in the same conversation without a person copying the file out by hand.

Targeted multicast to a curated list

When a new entry appears in a source system, the agent uses Multicast Message to send an update to a curated list of user IDs. Multicast targets users the account already has a relationship with, so the message reaches exactly the intended recipients.

Human-in-Loop Highlight

The human-in-loop moment on LINE is the quota gate on high-reach sends. A push or a reply to a single customer runs on its own. A broadcast or narrowcast to a whole segment does not. Before a fan-out, the agent reads the live quota with Get Message Quota and Get Message Consumption, estimates the cost, and posts the message preview and the quota impact for a marketing lead: "This broadcast reaches roughly 40,000 users and would use most of the remaining monthly quota. Approve to send?" The lead approves or holds. The agent handles the sends that are cheap and reversible. A person owns the ones that spend a finite, shared resource on every customer at once.
