ProfitWell
FinanceConnect AI agents to ProfitWell Metrics by Paddle. Agents read month-over-month and day-by-day MRR, active customers, ARPU, and churn, break a single metric down over time by plan, and push subscription creations, upgrades, migrations, and churn events into manual, API-based ProfitWell accounts.
What This Integration Enables
Agents read and write the subscription-metrics surface. On the read side, they pull month-over-month or day-by-day MRR, active customers, ARPU, and churn, and break a single metric such as churned customers down over time by plan. On the write side, for manual, API-based ProfitWell accounts, they push subscription creations, updates, plan migrations, and churn events so those accounts stay accurate. The agent assembles the recurring reporting and keeps the data flowing, and surfaces the months that need a human's read rather than deciding what a churn spike means on its own.

Use Case Scenarios
Monthly revenue summary
The reporting schedule fires. The agent pulls MRR and churn with Get Monthly Metrics and posts the revenue summary to a #metrics channel with [Slack](/integrations/slack) "Send Message To Channel". The report that used to mean an export and a copy-paste into a deck becomes a message that arrives on its own each month.
Churn breakdown to a tracking sheet
Finance wants to see where churn is concentrated. The agent calls Get Metric Detail to pull churned-customer counts per plan, then appends the breakdown to a churn-tracking spreadsheet with [Google Sheets](/integrations/google-sheets) "Add Rows". The per-plan view that took manual slicing becomes a maintained record.
Keeping a manual account accurate
A subscription is created in your billing system. The agent mirrors it into a manual ProfitWell account with Create Subscription so it is counted in the metrics. When a subscription upgrades, downgrades, migrates plans, or churns, the agent pushes the matching Update Subscription, Migrate Subscription, or Churn Subscription event with the effective date. The metrics stay accurate without anyone hand-entering events, and when a delinquent churn is recorded and Retain is enabled, the recovery path can start off the same data.
Human-in-Loop Highlight
ProfitWell reports the numbers; it does not decide what they mean. The moment that needs judgment is a churn spike: a month where churned revenue jumps past the level your team treats as normal. An agent should assemble and route that finding, not conclude on its own that the quarter is off track. Configure the agent so that when Get Monthly Metrics returns churn above the alert threshold, it pauses the summary, pulls the per-plan breakdown with Get Metric Detail, and routes the month to finance through Slack with the numbers attached and a question: "Churn this month is above the alert level, concentrated in the plans shown. Treat this as final, or investigate first?" A person reads it and decides. The recurring reporting still runs on its own; the interpretation waits for a human. This is [human-in-the-loop](/concepts/human-in-the-loop): the agent pauses, gathers the context and the choices, routes to the right person, and resumes on their answer.
