Harvest

Productivity

Run Harvest time tracking, projects, and invoicing from your flows: log time, sync clients and projects, and draft invoices from tracked hours. Agents assemble billing and route each invoice to a person before it is sent.

33 actions available
A billing period closes on a schedule
Agent pulls the period's billable hours with List Time Entries
Agent confirms the hours map to billable projects and tasks
Agent totals the hours per client against the project's rate
Agent drafts an invoice for the client with the line items
Agent posts the drafted invoice total to the finance channel
The invoice is routed to a person to approve before Send Invoice emails it

What This Integration Enables

FlowRunner agents use Harvest to run tracking and billing as decisions, not manual assembly. An agent can log time and start, stop, or restart timers, keep clients, projects, and tasks in sync with a CRM, and paginate time entries into a report. It can draft an invoice from a period's billable hours, update it, and reconcile it, then hand it to a person to send. Because the connector reads company settings, the agent can confirm whether the account tracks time by duration or by start and end times before it logs. The routine tracking and drafting run on their own. The invoice send, which puts a dollar figure in front of a client, is where the agent stops to ask.

Without FlowRunner

Manual invoice assembly Someone tallies hours and builds each client invoice by hand
Slow billing Invoices go out late because assembling them is a chore
Unchecked sends Invoices email clients without a final human review

With FlowRunner

Invoices draft themselves The agent totals billable hours and drafts the invoice automatically
Fast, consistent billing Every client's invoice is assembled the same way at period close
Reviewed before sending A person approves each invoice before it reaches the client

Use Case Scenarios

Time to Draft Invoice

At period close, the agent pulls billable hours with List Time Entries, totals them per client against the project rate, and drafts an invoice with Create Invoice. It posts the draft total to finance. The invoice is assembled without anyone tallying hours by hand, and it waits for a person before it goes out.

Client Onboarding

A new client row appears in a spreadsheet. The agent calls Create Client, then Create Project to set up their engagement for time tracking, and provisions the tasks the project needs. The client is ready for tracking without manual setup in Harvest.

Timer Automation from a Task Tool

When a task starts in another tool, the agent starts a Harvest timer against the matching project with Start Timer, and stops it with Stop Timer when the task closes. Because the connector checks company settings, it logs the entry in the format the account expects, whether that is duration or timestamps.

Human-in-Loop Highlight

When the agent has a drafted invoice ready and the next step is Send Invoice, it does not email the client on its own. Sending an invoice puts a specific dollar figure in front of a client and starts the clock on payment, and a wrong total or a mislabeled line item is a client conversation nobody wants. The agent pauses and routes to the account owner through their preferred channel: "Invoice for [Client] totals [amount] across [N] line items from [period]'s hours. Approve to send, or hold to fix line items?" The owner approves, and the agent runs Send Invoice only then. Routine tracking and drafting run on their own; emailing a client an invoice reaches a person first.
