Hunter.io
Sales IntelligenceFind, verify, and enrich professional email addresses. Agents discover every email at a domain, guess a named person's address, verify deliverability before sending, enrich contacts, and manage leads and leads lists.
What This Integration Enables
Agents use Hunter to build a clean, deliverable contact list before a single message is sent. Domain Search returns the full picture for a company: the email pattern, the organization, and every known address with a confidence score, role, seniority, and department. Email Finder narrows to one named person when the agent already knows who to reach. Email Verifier runs the deliverability checks (format, MX, SMTP, disposable, and webmail) that keep bounces off your sending domain. The Leads operations let an agent save qualified contacts and organize them into lists, so enrichment and list-building happen in one workflow instead of two disconnected tools.

Use Case Scenarios
Account-to-Contact Mapping
A rep adds a target company to the account list. The agent calls Domain Search, pulls every known email at the domain, and filters by seniority and department to the decision-makers who matter. It runs Email Verifier on each candidate, drops the undeliverable ones, and saves the survivors with Create Lead. The rep opens the account and finds a verified, role-filtered contact list waiting, instead of a company name and a blank field where the contact should be.
Named-Person Lookup
An agent working a warm referral already knows the person's name and company but not their email. It calls Email Finder, gets the single best-guess address with a confidence score and supporting sources, then runs Email Verifier to confirm the mailbox is reachable. Only a verified address becomes a lead. The rep reaches the right inbox on the first try rather than guessing at address formats.
Coverage Check Before a Campaign
Before committing search credits to a large prospecting push, an agent runs Email Count across a batch of target domains to see how much coverage Hunter has for each. Domains with thin coverage get flagged for a different approach; domains with deep coverage move to full Domain Search. The agent spends credits where they will actually produce contacts.
Human-in-Loop Highlight
Email Finder returns a best guess, not a certainty, and even a verified address can belong to the wrong person or a role that will not welcome the outreach. Before an agent lets a batch of found-and-verified addresses flow into an outreach campaign send, it holds the list for a human. FlowRunner's human-in-the-loop lets the agent pause at exactly this step and invoke a rep's judgment as a callable check inside the workflow. The agent messages the rep through Slack: "I found and verified [N] addresses for [Company]. Approve the list before it enters the [Campaign] send, or remove anyone who should not be contacted." The rep approves or trims, and the campaign goes out to a list a human signed off on. The agent handles the discovery and verification; the person owns the decision to hit send.
Agent Capabilities
13 actionsEmail Discovery
3- Domain Search Find every email address publicly associated with a domain or company. Returns the detected email pattern, the organization name, and a list of emails, each with a confidence score, type, owner name, position, seniority, department, and source. Use it to map every contact at a target company.
- Email Finder Find the most likely email address for a specific person at a company. Provide the person's first and last name plus a domain or company name; Hunter returns the single best-guess email with a confidence score and supporting sources. Use it when you already know who you want to reach.
- Email Count Return how many email addresses Hunter knows for a domain without consuming search credits. Provides the total and breakdowns by department and seniority. Use it as a cheap coverage check before a full Domain Search.
Email Verification
1- Email Verifier Verify the deliverability of a single email address. Returns an overall status (valid, invalid, accept_all, webmail, disposable, or unknown), a confidence score, and the individual format, MX, and SMTP checks. Run it before sending to reduce bounces.
Enrichment
1- Combined Enrichment Enrich an email address with both person and company data in a single call. Returns a person profile alongside the company profile of their employer. Use it to attach role and company context to a known address.
Leads
7- List Leads List leads saved in the account, most recent first, with pagination and filtering by list or lead fields. Use it to review or process a saved pipeline of contacts.
- Create Lead Create a new lead. Only the email is required, but you can attach name, position, company, website, phone, social profiles, a source, notes, and a leads list. Use it to save a qualified contact for follow-up.
- Get Lead Retrieve a single lead by its numeric id, returning the full contact record. Use it to pull one lead's details into a workflow.
- Update Lead Update an existing lead by its numeric id; only the fields you provide are changed. Use it to keep a saved contact current as new data arrives.
- Delete Lead Permanently delete a lead by its numeric id. This action cannot be undone. Use it to remove a contact that should no longer be worked.
- List Leads Lists List all leads lists in the account, each with its id, name, and lead count. Use it to find the right list before saving new leads.
- Create Leads List Create a new leads list to group related leads. Use it to organize a fresh prospecting effort before contacts are saved into it.
Account
1- Get Account Return details about the authenticated account, including plan, team, and API usage. Use it as a connection check and to monitor how many requests remain for the billing period.
