Connect AI agents to Kit (formerly ConvertKit). Agents create and tag subscribers, add them to forms and sequences, manage custom fields, and create and measure broadcasts on the creator email platform.

What This Integration Enables

An agent can create a subscriber (upserting when the email already exists), read, list, and update subscribers, and unsubscribe a cancelled contact. Tags are the primary way Kit segments, so the agent creates and lists tags, adds a tag by subscriber ID or by email, removes a tag, and lists the subscribers on a tag. This is the loop that turns a raw signup into a segmented subscriber the right automation can pick up. Beyond tags, the agent lists forms and adds a subscriber to a form to trigger its incentive email, lists sequences and enrolls a subscriber into one, and manages custom fields. For reach and reporting, it lists and creates broadcasts (saving a draft or scheduling a send to all active subscribers), reads a broadcast, and pulls delivery and engagement stats. The "On Kit Event" trigger fires on subscriber activity in real time, so a flow can react the instant a subscriber activates, is tagged, completes a sequence, clicks a link, or makes a purchase. The agent is the bridge between where a lead is captured and the creator's email automations.

Without FlowRunner

Leads added by hand A creator pastes new signups into Kit on a schedule
No segmentation on entry Subscribers arrive untagged, so the right automation never starts
Sequences started manually Onboarding courses wait for someone to enroll each subscriber

With FlowRunner

Subscribers added on arrival Create Subscriber adds the lead the moment it appears, upserting on email
Tagged for automation Tag Subscriber By Email segments the lead for the right flow
Sequences started in the flow Add Subscriber To Sequence enrolls the lead into onboarding at once

Use Case Scenarios

Signup, Tagged, and Enrolled

A [Google Sheets](/integrations/google-sheets) On New Row captures a new lead. The agent calls Create Subscriber to add them, Tag Subscriber By Email to segment them, and Add Subscriber To Sequence to start a welcome course. From a spreadsheet row to the start of onboarding is one run.

New Customer Into the List

When a store fires a new-customer event, the agent calls Create Subscriber to add them to the mailing list and Add Subscriber To Sequence to start a welcome course. The customer begins onboarding the moment they buy.

Purchase Alert

The "On Kit Event" trigger fires for a Purchase Created event. The agent alerts the team with the subscriber's email and purchase details through [Slack](/integrations/slack) Send Message To Channel, and logs a Subscriber Activated event to [Google Sheets](/integrations/google-sheets) Add Row for growth tracking.

Human-in-Loop Highlight

A broadcast with a send time set delivers to every active subscriber in the account at that time. A wrong subject or the wrong content reaches the whole list before anyone can pull it back. When the agent is about to run Create Broadcast with a send time (rather than saving a draft), it treats the scheduled send as a [human-in-the-loop](/concepts/human-in-the-loop/) step. It pauses, shows the subject, the send time, and that it will reach all active subscribers, and routes approval to a marketing owner through Slack or email. The owner approves, and the broadcast is scheduled. The owner holds, and it stays a draft. Drafting flows through untouched; the send that reaches every subscriber gets a human first.

Agent Capabilities

22 actions

Account and Subscribers

6
  • Get Account Retrieves the current Kit account: name, primary email, plan type, and timezone. Use it to verify the API key connection.
  • Create Subscriber Creates a subscriber, or updates the existing one when the email is already present. Subscribers created this way are added directly without a confirmation email.
  • Get Subscriber Retrieves a single subscriber by ID, including email, first name, state, and custom field values.
  • List Subscribers Lists subscribers with optional filters for email, status, and creation date, cursor-paginated.
  • Update Subscriber Updates a subscriber's email, first name, or custom field values. To change subscription state, use Unsubscribe Subscriber.
  • Unsubscribe Subscriber Unsubscribes a subscriber so they no longer receive emails. This sets their state to cancelled; it does not delete the record.

Tags

6
  • Create Tag Creates a new tag, the primary way to segment subscribers for automations and broadcast filters.
  • List Tags Lists the tags in the account, cursor-paginated.
  • Tag Subscriber Adds a tag to a subscriber by their subscriber ID.
  • Tag Subscriber By Email Adds a tag to a subscriber by email address. The subscriber must already exist.
  • Remove Tag From Subscriber Removes a tag from a subscriber. The subscriber stays in the account.
  • List Subscribers For Tag Lists the subscribers that have a given tag, with optional status and date filters.

Forms, Sequences, and Fields

6
  • List Forms Lists the forms and landing pages in the account with their names and embed details.
  • Add Subscriber To Form Adds an existing subscriber to a form, triggering its incentive email and automations.
  • List Sequences Lists the email sequences (courses) in the account.
  • Add Subscriber To Sequence Enrolls an existing subscriber in a sequence so they start receiving its emails.
  • List Custom Fields Lists the custom fields defined in the account, including each field's label and key.
  • Create Custom Field Creates a new custom field, then set its value on subscribers using the field's label as the key.

Broadcasts

4
  • List Broadcasts Lists the broadcasts in the account with their subjects and send times.
  • Create Broadcast Creates a broadcast: leave the send time blank to save a draft, or set it to schedule delivery to all active subscribers.
  • Get Broadcast Retrieves a single broadcast by ID, including its subject, content, and send time.
  • Get Broadcast Stats Retrieves delivery and engagement statistics for a sent broadcast: recipients, open rate, click rate, and unsubscribes.
