MailerLite

Email Marketing

Connect AI agents to MailerLite. Agents upsert subscribers, organize groups, inspect fields, and build, schedule, and send email campaigns, with a real-time trigger for subscriber events.

1 trigger 17 actions available
A new subscriber event fires or a lead arrives upstream
Agent syncs the contact with Upsert Subscriber
Agent segments them with Assign Subscriber To Group
Agent reads List Fields to set the right custom fields
Agent builds the message with Create Campaign
Marketing channel gets a count of new subscribers
Schedule Campaign routes for approval before it actually sends

What This Integration Enables

An agent can upsert a subscriber by email (setting profile and custom fields, group assignments, and status), read a subscriber with engagement counters, list subscribers, update, and delete. For GDPR, it offers both a regular delete and an irreversible forget. Groups are the segmentation unit: create, list, and delete groups, and assign or remove a subscriber from one. Reading the field list tells the agent which keys to use when setting values, so a sync never guesses at field names. For reach, the agent lists and reads campaigns, creates a campaign as a draft with subject, sender, and HTML content, schedules it (the step that actually sends, instantly or at a future time), and deletes campaigns. The "On Subscriber Event" trigger fires in real time when a subscriber is created, updated, unsubscribes, bounces, or changes group, so a flow can react the moment it happens. The agent is the bridge between the systems that generate contacts and a clean, segmented MailerLite list.

Without FlowRunner

Subscribers added by hand Someone pastes new contacts into MailerLite on a schedule
Groups assigned later Subscribers arrive ungrouped, so targeted campaigns miss them
Sends go out unreviewed A campaign is scheduled with no second set of eyes on it

With FlowRunner

Subscribers upserted on arrival Upsert Subscriber syncs each contact, matched by email
Grouped on entry Assign Subscriber To Group segments the contact in the same run
Sends reviewed Schedule Campaign pauses for approval before delivery

Use Case Scenarios

New Subscriber Alert

The "On Subscriber Event" trigger fires for a new subscriber. The agent notifies the marketing team with the subscriber's email and status through [Slack](/integrations/slack) Send Message To Channel. The team sees list growth in real time instead of checking the dashboard.

Sync and Segment a Roster

The agent reads a list of contacts from [Google Sheets](/integrations/google-sheets) with Get Rows, then calls Upsert Subscriber for each row to sync them into MailerLite and Assign Subscriber To Group to segment them. A static roster becomes a segmented, live list in one flow.

Welcome on Signup

When a [Gmail](/integrations/gmail-service) On New Email trigger captures a signup request, the agent calls Upsert Subscriber to add the sender, then Create Campaign and Schedule Campaign to deliver a welcome. The signup is greeted without a marketer assembling the send.

Human-in-Loop Highlight

Create Campaign only builds a draft; Schedule Campaign is the step that actually sends, and it can send instantly to all active subscribers. That is the irreversible moment. When the agent is about to run Schedule Campaign, it treats the send as a [human-in-the-loop](/concepts/human-in-the-loop/) step. It pauses, shows the subject, the sender, the target groups (or all active subscribers when none are set), and the send timing, and routes approval to a marketing owner through Slack or email. The owner approves, and the agent schedules the send. The owner holds, and the campaign stays a draft. Building flows through untouched; the send that reaches the list gets a human first.

Agent Capabilities

17 actions

Subscribers

6
  • Upsert Subscriber Creates a new subscriber or updates the existing one with the same email (MailerLite upserts on email), setting profile and custom fields, group assignments, and status.
  • Get Subscriber Fetches a single subscriber by ID or email, including status, engagement counters, profile fields, and group memberships.
  • List Subscribers Lists subscribers with optional status filtering and cursor-based pagination.
  • Update Subscriber Updates an existing subscriber by ID, changing fields, group assignments, or status. Only provided properties change.
  • Delete Subscriber Deletes a subscriber by ID, removing them from all groups. Use Forget Subscriber for GDPR erasure.
  • Forget Subscriber Permanently and irreversibly erases a subscriber's personal data for GDPR compliance. The data is deleted after a 30-day grace period and cannot be recovered.

Groups

5
  • Create Group Creates a new subscriber group for targeted campaigns and automations.
  • List Groups Lists subscriber groups with optional name filtering, including subscriber counts and engagement statistics.
  • Delete Group Deletes a group by ID. Subscribers in the group are not deleted, they only lose this membership.
  • Assign Subscriber To Group Adds an existing subscriber to a group, keeping all other memberships.
  • Remove Subscriber From Group Removes a subscriber from a group. The subscriber is not deleted.

Fields and Campaigns

6
  • List Fields Lists all subscriber fields, default and custom, with the keys to use when setting values on a subscriber.
  • List Campaigns Lists campaigns filtered by status (Sent, Draft, or Ready) with pagination.
  • Get Campaign Fetches a single campaign by ID, including its content and delivery statistics for sent campaigns.
  • Create Campaign Creates a regular email campaign as a draft with subject, sender, and HTML content, optionally targeted at specific groups. Creating a campaign does not send it.
  • Schedule Campaign Schedules a draft campaign for delivery. This is the step that actually sends, instantly or at a specific future time.
  • Delete Campaign Deletes a campaign by ID. Deleted campaigns and their statistics cannot be recovered.

Event Triggers

1
  • On Subscriber Event Fires when a subscribed MailerLite webhook event occurs, such as a subscriber being created, updated, unsubscribing, bouncing, or being added to or removed from a group. One webhook is registered per trigger, and the event you select determines which subscriber activity starts the flow. Use it to react to subscriber changes in real time instead of polling.
